Kids and Conservation Day

Two people are planting a small tree in the ground on a grassy area at DuCard Vineyards; one is kneeling and holding the tree while the other helps place soil around it, with the scenic mountainside winery as their backdrop.We are continuing our commitment to environmental conservation with educational, kid-friendly activities and give-aways all day! Through our partnership with Friends of the Rappahannock, we’ll give away coloring books and crayons and Redbud trees for the planting, while supplies last. We will also offer supervised activities (12-5pm) such as water quality sampling and other environmental investigations in our very own Popham Run. So bring the kids and the grandkids, pack a picnic, and come out for a day of full of educational family fun, and OH YEAH – don’t forget the divine wine! No cover. Reservations are recommended.
