Revel in the splendor of Shenandoah National Park at our boutique mountainside vineyard. Enjoy our table-side flights for a full service elevated experience of our fine Virginia wine made on-site from grapes grown and harvested from our vineyards out our back door, or attend one of our free, family-friendly events. Located just north of Charlottesville, 90 minutes from Northern Virginia and under two hours from Richmond, DuCard Vineyards is the perfect place for a day trip, a weekend getaway or a special event. Come visit our beautiful mountainside vineyard and experience it for yourself.

DuCard hit the trifecta for us during our visit: the wines, the hospitality, and the music were all top-notch! They have award-winning wines for every palate. Hard to pick a favorite, but I guess the 2023 XOXO has to be mine since I came home with 3 bottles. Lol. The amazing staff was so enjoyable, knowledgeable and outgoing. And the band? Oh my – such fun listening to Scuffletown’s talented musicians. Can’t wait to return! Thank you, DuCard team, for hosting us!

At DuCard, we strive to make your visit enjoyable and memorable in a beautiful setting. Our operation focuses on highlighting local scenery and providing a relaxing environment with natural beauty, fresh air, fun, and peace. Our wines offer a break from modern life’s stresses and promote personal well-being.
Our tasting room features a cathedral ceiling window wall with views of Shenandoah National Park, stunning flooring and bars made from local reclaimed hardwood. Our outdoor areas, including shaded lawns, tented patio, and secluded deck, overlook a mountain stream and vineyards.
We are ADA accessible and welcome families, pets, and picnics.
Full Service Wine Flights
Savor a flight of four half-glasses of select DuCard wines: red, white, or mixed. We offer a rotating selection that includes current and new releases, as well as premium and library selections. Your full service experience includes:
- Service at your table on the back lawn, the patio, or in our Shenandoah Room – all with mountain views and gentle breezes
- Served in our logo crystal glassware
- Hosted by a knowledgeable, fun and friendly DuCard staff member who will share information about your wine selections, DuCard’s background and inside stories, and answer your questions
Light bites are available to accompany your wines, as well. We offer locally-sourced cheese and charcuterie boards, chocolates, peanuts, and more.
Loved DuCard so much, we went back the next day. VA is known for their white wines but, here, the reds are also delicious, thanks to their wine maker from Bordeaux. Beth, our server, was lovely. Dog friendly, bring-your-own-food, live music, perfect winery vibes. There’s an area with A/C for a hot day and lots of outdoor space too. New favorite around Etlan.
Group Tastings
We are happy to accommodate your large group of 10 or more with advance notice. A DuCard staff member can be dedicated to serving your group, answering your questions, and sharing our background and inside stories. Depending on the season and availability, we may offer a walking tour of the vineyard or winery. For larger groups, we may offer wines for sale by the bottle, rather than wine flights. Schedule a Massage Above The Vines: A chance to relax among the vines at DuCard Vineyards with fresh air, views of the hills, and bodywork tailored to relax and release. Quiet spot in the VA mountains
Absolutely beautiful spot with great wine and friendly staff! Lots of great hiking around. Stayed for 3 nights and saw the northern lights! Dogs are allowed everywhere! 10/10 recommend this vineyard!
