The Very Best – Location, People, Music, Wine. On the top of our list of all the Harvest Host wineries we have visited! We appreciated the pleasant and welcoming team at DuCard, the music performers (Ken on saxophone especially!), and the wines are top notch! The location and venue offer many indoor and outdoor seating options. The Harvest Host overnight parking worked out well – very quiet and fairly level. We appreciated being able to request a 2nd night and took advantage of that. It was a great base location to see some other sights – including Montpelier. We look forward to coming again!

We were greeted with clear directions for where to park and a delicious box of chocolates that we enjoyed after dinner ☺️ That evening we listened to some live music and enjoyed some tableside flights if wine. Our server, Lisa, was knowledgeable and really took the time to explain the DuCard wines. The next morning, Scott, the owner, graciously came by to say hi and offer us coffee and donuts. Can’t wait to go back!!!

I would give DuCard 10 stars if I could. My husband and I arrived a little after 5pm on Saturday and were greeted by Angela with a box of chocolates! We ordered a delicious charcuterie board and some lovely wine. We met a couple of the staff who were so warm and welcoming. As we were finishing up our snacks to go and park our rig for the night, the owner, Scott, introduced himself and invited us to join their post-event staff dinner. How lovely is that? We accepted and had a fun evening of good conversation, excellent seafood, and some great wine, of course. We had a peaceful night’s sleep and stopped back in the winery before leaving on Sunday to join their wine club. A big thank you to Scott, Beth, Angela, and all the wonderful DuCard folks. We will definitely be back!
